Update: Armed Robbery at Electric Blue Cafe

Police say an armed man robbed the Electric Blue on Saturday morning.

 

Update: Sunday, 11 a.m.

As of 11 a.m. on Sunday, the state police are still looking for a Hispanic male who they say robbed the business.

A spokesman for the department said that the vehicle the man fled in is a red, SUV type vehicle. It was originally believed to be a pickup truck.

The investigation is still ongoing.

State police say they are looking for a man who robbed the Electric Blue Cafe in Tolland around noon Saturday.

Police said the man, described as an overweight Hispanic male, was armed during the hold up at the business on Route 195, just north of I-84. No one was injured in the robbery.

Police believe the man may have fled in a red pickup truck. No other information was available.

Anyone who may information about the robbery, is asked to call State Police Troop C at 860-896-3222.
