Stephen Byrne of Tolland CT graduated from the University of New Haven on January 14, 2012 with a M.S. in Education.

Trevor Lafontaine, 2011 graduate of Tolland High School and XC/Track standout, earned Academic Honors in his first semester at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY.  He had a GPA of 3.85 which earned Dean's List Recognition (3.0 or better) and Distinguished Cadet Recognition (3.67 or better).  Lafontaine also was named to the Patriot League All Academic Team for Cross Country (3.2 or better).
