Legislators Hosting Business Forum, A New Store and a Craft Show

Local House Republican State Legislators have announced they will be hosting a Regional Small Business Forum at Tolland High School on Thursday, September 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Hosting the Small Business Forum will be State Representative Sam Belsito (R-53rd), State Representative Tim Ackert (R-8th), State Representative Christopher Davis (R-57th), State Representative Penny Bacchiochi (R-52nd) and State Representative Pam Sawyer (R-55th).

The legislators will be providing information on the different services and resources the state offers for small businesses looking to expand or hire new employees within Connecticut.

A representative from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development will also be in attendance to answer any specific questions on state services currently being offered for small businesses.

Arts of Tolland’s 2013 Craft Show is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, on the Tolland Green in conjunction with The town-wide Celebrate Tolland festival . Hours are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. with several terrific crafters.

Pawsitively 4 Health is now open at 12 Goose Lane. It specializes in pet foods, toys, treats, supplies, beds, gifts, etc. Hours are Tuesday to Thursday from  10 a.m. to 6 p.m.;  Fridays from  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and  Sat from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pets are welcome.
