Parents who administer Motrin infant drops to their children should be aware of a recent product recall, the state Department of Consumer Protection said.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division is voluntarily recalling approximately 200,000 bottles of Concentrated MOTRIN Infants’ Drops Original Berry Flavor, half-ounce, sold in the U.S.

  • Product: Concentrated MOTRIN® Infants’ Drops Original Berry Flavor 1/2 fl oz bottles (NDC 50580-100-18)

  • Lot No.: DCB3T01; DDB4R01; DDB4S01

  • UPC Code: 300450524157
  • The lot number and UPC codes are typically printed on the outside packaging and on the printed bottle label.

    The potential for adverse medical events related to the reason for this recall is not likely. Concentrated Infants’ MOTRIN® Drops Dye-Free Berry Flavor 1 fl oz is not included in this recall. Children’s or Adult MOTRIN® products are not included in this recall.

    The Department advises parents who have the recalled MOTRIN Infants Drops to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.  The company has provided questions and answers on this web page.

    Here are the agenda highlights for Tonight's meeting, scheduled to begin at 7:30 at the Hicks Municipal Center:

    • Proclamation declaring Sept. 19 “No Texting While Driving Day.”

    • Public Hearing - "Consideration of a resolution making an appropriation of $130,499 from the Emergency Storm Fund’s fund balance to allocate the funds approved by FEMA for actual costs from Storm NEMO (February 2013 Blizzard) and to appropriate funds for future Board of Education emergency reserves."

    • Proposed executive session - personnel matter. 

    Right before the council meeting - at 7 - come on out to see a free art demo featuring Karen Israel painting a View of Nature with pastels.  We start our meeting at 7p.m. at the Arts Center of Tolland. She is an award-winning pastelist.
