Enhancing Tolland's Tradition of Education

As an incumbent member of the Board of Education, my decision to run again for
election was very easy. I am convinced that education is the most important element of our community. Through our incredibly dedicated staff, teachers and administrators we touch more lives and provide more services and resources than any other organization in Tolland.

With my 4 years of experience on the Board, I know that I can help to ensure that Tolland's education system continues to be responsive and effective for our students and our community.

I have been asked the question: "How do we continue to keep Tolland as one of the best small towns in the country?" I believe that the answer must include our continued investment in our town's education system. 
Enhancing Tolland's robust education system will give our children an advantage in the changing economy of the future. Advancing our education system will help to bring new families and new ideas to Tolland in the future. And it is an effective and efficient education system that will help to protect the value of your property in Tolland.

The current Board of Education has done a very good job of responding effectively and efficiently to the needs of the students, administrations and citizens of Tolland.
Even in the face of a challenging economy, increasing regulation/mandates and record weather we have helped to deliver a great curriculum through our professional and cooperative effort. But we can do more.

My promise to you is that I will put what is best for Tolland and Tolland's students first in all of my decisions. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve Tolland on the Board of Education, and I ask for your vote on November 8th.
