Dear Parent/Guardian:
Due to the inordinate amount of school cancellations, the voted to shorten the upcoming February break by three days. School will be in session on Wednesday, February 23, Thursday, February 24 and Friday, February 25, 2011.
We need to determine the number of students that will be absent each day so teachers can provide students with an alternative assignment by February 18. All students absent from school during these days will be excused.
Please return the lower portion of this letter indicating the date(s) of absence and reason. The lower portion of this letter only needs to be returned if your child is missing at least one day of school. Please check each box below indicating which day(s) your child will be absent and return it to your child’s classroom teacher by Wednesday, February 9.
