Joshuaʼs Tract Walk Book, a 310-page book which details walks in northeastern Connecticut including Tolland, will be offered as a free gift to anyone who joins the conservation group as a new member. Joshuaʼs Trust protects over 4,000 acres of open space in northeastern Connecticut and has well-maintained trails on many of its properties.
This comprehensive guide features descriptions of the history, geology, and ecology of the preserves, and serves as an excellent companion to those exploring Tract land.
The Walk Book sells in stores for $15. Membership levels in the Trust begin at $20. Membership forms and Walk Books are available at several locations, including the Homestead on Tolland Green, Mansfield Community Center, the Mansfield Town Clerkʼs office, the Altnaveigh Inn & Restaurant, and the Audubon Nature Center in Pomfret.
