Celebrate Christmas in Tolland with old-fashioned fun on Dec. 1. That’s when Santa arrives at The Lodge at Crandall II to participate in Tolland Community Women’s Snack with Santa, to be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Each child will receive a passport to fun activities, including a special visit with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, a delicious snack, and a simple craft. All of this takes place in a beautifully decorated Lodge around an inviting fireplace. Admission is $6 per child, and includes a keepsake photo.
To add to the fun, a wonderful array of Christmas ornaments will be available for purchase, with free personalization, along with a selection of stockings and stuffers. After this event, the ornaments will be available starting Dec. 5 at The Homestead country store on Tolland Green.
Proceeds will be used to support community projects and charitable donations by the Tolland Community Women, a nonprofit volunteer organization. Membership is open to all interested women 18 and older. Tolland Juniorettes, a volunteer organization for young women ages 9-18, will also be assisting at the event.
