As a precaution, the roofs of the Tolland schools will have snow and ice removed by National Guardsman beginning in the early hours Friday morning, Feb. 4. School has been canceled for the day while this process is completed.
We are in need of snow removal equipment to supply approximately 100 Guardsman. If you can loan shovels, snow blowers, etc., please drop them behind Tolland Fire Station 240, located at 3 Rhodes Rd. (near the Route 195 intersection) before 6 a.m. If you would like your equipment returned, please clearly mark it with your name, address and phone number.
