The town’s Permanent Celebration Committee and the Tolland Fire Department will hold Tolland's largest holiday gathering this Saturday, Nov. 30 when they pair the annual Holiday Tree Lighting with the Tolland Festival of Lights Parade.
The tree lighting will begin at 4 p.m. on the green, with special guests visiting from the North Pole and entertainment by the Tolland High School Madrigal Singers. Non-perishable food items and donations will be collected for the Tolland food pantry.
At 5:05 p.m., festively decorated fire trucks will parade from the Tolland Senior Center to the Tolland Recreation Department, to the delight of people of all ages.
