Tolland Resident Places Second at International Music Competition

Matthew Della Camera of Tolland placed second in the High School Euphonium competition at the North East Regional Tuba & Euphonium Conference in Ithaca, NY, on Sunday, April 21st. The conference was sponsored by the International Tuba & Euphonium Association. Felix Geroldinger from Austria placed first. Matthew is a member of several bands and ensembles at Tolland High School, the University of Hartford and at the Community School of the Arts at the University of Connecticut, among others.
