Introducing "Good News Fridays"

I'm not sure about you, but 2012 was filled with many "ups" and some "downs" for me. Heck, I'm positive we all experienced some tough times over the past 12 months. With that in mind, the editors who contribute to Tolland Patch have decided to 1) move forward; and 2) actively make 2013 better.

In an effort to do so, we present to you "Good News Fridays."

It's exactly what it sounds like, nothing more nothing less. Tolland Patch is committed to supplying at least one piece of good news every Friday and providing a place for you to share a piece your own positive thoughts well wishes or acknowledgements.

It doesn't matter how big or how small the news. Something as simple as a door held open, the glimpse of a blooming flower as spring breaks or the sensation of a warm blanket on a chilly winter night can make us all smile. Share it all.

Good news is everything from the seemingly mundane to the tremendous pride felt when seeing your child’s on the academic honor roll.
