Frank Tantillo Selected as State Parade Marshal

The school board member will represent the Connecticut National Guard in the Veterans Parade on November 4.

School board member Frank Tantillo has been selected as a state Veterans Parade marshal, representing the Connecticut National Guard.

"It's a great honor," he said. "I'm there representing all the soldiers that I deployed to Afghanistan with."

Maj. Tantillo helped rebuild infrastructure, ran children's education programs and assisted with community medical programs during his two tours in Afghanistan.

He earned two Bronze Stars during his tours.
