It may have been a week late because of the Oct. 29 Nor'easter, but folks at the Storrs Farmers Market made sure kids had some Halloween fun nonetheless.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, the Mansfield Town Hall parking lot was alive with the sound of fun children's music for all the young boys and ghouls that arrived in costume. The Singasaurus and the Bee (a.k.a. Bruce John and Jason Altieri of Mansfield) provided the musical entertainment, while vendors of the Farmers Market provided seasonal treats.
This week marked the start of the market's new hours for the remainder of fall. The Storrs Farmers Market will be closing at 5 p.m. through Nov. 19. To learn more about what is available at the Market and to sign up for weekly emails, contact StorrsFarmersMarket@gmail.com.
