Labor Day Holiday Trash and Recycling Schedule Posted

Here is the Labor day trash and recycling schedule, courtesy of town officials: 

Because of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 2, there will be no solid waste, recycling or bulky waste pick-up that day.

All routes will be postponed to the day after the regular pick-up day. Residents whose pick-up day is Monday will get collection service  Tuesday of that week, etc. 

The bulky pick-up week for September will be Monday, Sept. 9 through Friday, Sept. 13.

Call 800-286-5335 or 860-423-4527 or go to www.williwaste.com and click on “Tolland Residents Only” to schedule a bulky waste pick-up.  Residents must schedule collection four days in advance.
