The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-84 westbound over Connecticut River in Hartford, Friday evening, April 25, to Saturday evening, April 26, 2014.
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 Westbound on the Bulkeley Bridge, between Exit 55 (Connecticut Blvd on Ramp) and Exit 50 (I-91 Northbound Ramp) in Hartford.
Traffic control personnel, state police and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. (Friday evening) to 12:00 a.m. [midnight] (Saturday evening).
