Raring to Ride, Drawn to the Rhythm, PZC and Parks & Rec Meet

Start the morning with some exercise, then sing or drum your way into the day. At night, the Parks & Rec Advisory Board and Planning and Zoning Commission meet. Also, TIS is looking for a parent volunteer for the library.

If you are raring to get the week and the day started, consider joining an at Star Hill Family Athletic Center. Low-impact exercise is a great way to ease into your morning. Star Hill’s hour-long cycle class starts at 5:30 a.m., and is $8 for non-members. Or you can wind up the day with the class at 5:30 p.m.

It’s another full day at the senior center. If you love to sing, it’s time to warm up your vocal chords with the Noteables. starts at 10 a.m. Stay on for a weekly social at 11:30 a.m.

Enjoy a meal at the at noon. Lunch is $3. Later, if you are drawn to the rhythm, join the drum circle at 3 p.m.

This evening, the Parks & Rec Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. in the second floor Conference Room A at Hicks Municipal Center. Meetings are open to the public.

Later, the at 7:30 p.m. in the sixth floor Council Chambers at Hicks. There will be discussion of modifications to the funding, design and schedule for Tolland Village Area. There will also be discussion about the possible expansion of the Tolland Agricultural Center.

The library is looking for a parent volunteer to lend a hand on Mondays. The volunteer will organize and shelve books and magazines, possibly helping to check out books. Email Mrs. Hill at bhill@tolland.k12.ct.us for more details if interested.
