Rec Officials - Watch Out for Vandals at Crandall

They are asking those who use the park to look out for anything suspicious.

The Tolland Recreation Department is asking residents to help curb recent bouts of vandalism and littering at Crandall Park.

Recreation officials are asking those who frequent the park to be on the lookout for the culprits.

In a news release issued via e-mail, officials said the vandalism includes picnic tables being destroyed, grills being ripped out of the ground, trash and cigarette butts being tossed onto the pavilion floor and cans and bottles left lying around the park.

Anyone witnessing any suspicious activity is asked to call the Resident State Troopers office at 860-875-8911.

Town officials said they also want to be made aware of  anyone loitering in the park after dark.
