The Daily 5: A Swift Trip to the Library

There is a bunch to do at the Tolland Library.

Good morning, Tolland! Today is Thursday, April 11, 2013; there are 264 days left in the year.

Kids, it’s no secret that I think Taylor Swift is the bee’s knees.
I love the Tay Tay. She’s just a li’l darlin’. (Standard South Windsor Patch Disclaimer regarding Taylor Swift: There is absolutely nothing creepy at all to have a crush on a woman 20 years my junior. Nope. Nothing creepy at all. Move along. Nothing to see here.)

So I don’t like it when anyone makes fun of the cute-as-a-baby-harp-seal singer.

But, man, this is a great parody of “I Knew You Were Trouble” featuring a Gollum from The Lord of the Rings.

Man, I love the Internets.

Here’s your Daily 5:

1. Expect some rain and 50-degree temperatures today, the National Weather Service says.

... and to round out the five, here are some offerings at the library:

2. New to Tolland? The Tolland Library welcomes you and your children at:
Good Neighbors Spring Break Storytime on Wednesday, April 17, at
10:15 a.m. Tolland Library especially welcomes families new in
Tolland to the library for a drop-in storytime featuring stories celebrating
good neighbors and diversity.  For children ages  3 to 8. No sign up required.
