Officers have begun contacting dog owners who are currently overdue for the 2013 dog license year, which began when the fiscal year began. 

Officers are continuing to monitor dogs being let off their leads at town trails and parks. The department is looking into signs to post at the new artificial turf field at Tolland High School. No pets will be allowed in the track/field area.
