Tolland Family Resource Center Posts Winter Schedule

A pre-school and child care fair is on tap for Tuesday.

The Tolland Family Resource Center has several winter events on its schedule. 
On Tuesday, the center is hosting a pre-school and child care fair from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Birch Grove Primary School.

Representatives from pre-schools, child care centers and home day care providers will be on hand to represent their programs and have information available regarding registration for 2014-2015. 

There will also be representatives from other programs in town that  service children and families.

Winter play groups are beginning and registration is being accepted. The resource center offers playgroups for infants up to  5-year-olds.

Here is the schedule: 

Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. - 1,000 Books Before K at the Tolland Library.

Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 - Transportation Fun for ages 3 to 5.

Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. - Everyday Holidays free ages 3 to 5.

Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. - Babies, Toddlers and Twos B-3.

Creative Adventures in Science is a program scheduled for Jan. 22 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Children 3 to 5 are invited to a fun night of science at Birch Grove Primary School. Advance registration is required.

Registration for the Tolland Family Resource Center Pre-school and School-Aged Care program begins Feb. 3.

• 

Love Limits and Lessons is an eight-week parenting class scheduled for Birch Grove Primary School beginning February 5. Advance registration is required. Child care is available.
