Tolland Tax Records Now Available Online

Payment will even be an option.

So you have your eye on that piece of property ...

You head to the Hicks Center and the tax offiice.

"Blah, blah, blah ... Once the lien is paid off ..."

"Wait ... What? Lien?"

"You know you can look up the records online now ... "

"Really? ... wow ..."

Tolland Tax Collector Linda Calabrese chuckled at the scenario, but she said a new system could prevent it.

"You could have looked that up," she said.

The Tolland tax collector's records are now available online. To get to them, find the big red tax office circle (it's large) on the tolland.org home page. Click on it and agree to the disclaimer and enter a name, location or account number to view records.

The last three years are documented.

Calabrese said it is another step the town has taken in "the modernization of customer service technology."

And ...

By the time bills are sent out, online payment options should be available, she said.

The transaction fees will be 2.9 percent of the amount for credit card payment and $1.95 for payment via electronic check, she said.

When setting up an electronic check payment account, taxpayers can also ask for electronic billing, she said.
