What to Do in Tolland This Weekend: Oct. 19 - 21

Drop off your old TVs and microwaves at the free electronic recycling drive at Tolland Middle School.

Things don't grind to a halt in Tolland just because it's the weekend. Check out what's happening in town the next couple of days, and share any other weekend activities in the comment section!

1. Do you have old electronics that need to be safely recycled? Then take advantage of the fantastic program offered by Metech Recycling, as well as some young Tolland volunteers, for free electronic recycling. The event starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at Tolland Middle School.

2. So this event isn't actually in Tolland, but it benefits one of Tolland's well-known non-profit groups, Adam's Adventure! The group is hosting "Croptoberfest" in East Hartford on Saturday at 9 a.m. Participants can work on their scrapbooks with fellow enthusiasts for the $50 fee, which also provides for meals at the fundraiser.
