Abraham Lincoln to Speak Here

"Abraham Lincoln to Speak Here," as portrayed by Howard Wright, takes place on the evening of June 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the United Congregational Church on the Tolland Town Green.

Mr. Wright is an educator and has performed "Simply Lincoln" for school groups, historical societies, living history events, the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, the Wadsworth Atheneum and at the Connecticut State Capitol Building. Mr. Wright is 6'3", and his appearance
(stovepipe hat, real beard, authentic period attire and Kentucky-style accent) creates a memorable impression on any audience.

This Historical Society program is free (donations accepted), and no reservations are required. However, if you would like to attend the Tolland Historical Society's Annual Dinner and Meeting, which takes place at 5:30 p.m., then dinner reservations are required. The cost is $18 per person, and everyone is welcome to attend.
