Annual Winterfest & Tree-Lighting Ceremony

Ellington's Annual Winterfest & Tree-Lighting Ceremony will take place on Dec 4. A torch-light parade will make its way from the Church St gazebo and along the town green. Festivities will include the annual Tree Lighting, the Ellington Singers Holiday Concert, the Festival of Trees and Open House at the Hall Memorial Library, church choirs, a Christmas play by the Ellington High School Drama Department, an appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman and a Gingerbread House Baking Contest (an entry form and rules are online at http://www.ellington-ct.gov/our_town_page.asp?subCategoryID=winterfest.
