At Home with the Hicks Family

Hicks Museum, Neighbor

You are cordially invited to drop in between 6:30 to 8:30. pm.   This is an open house format with an interactive twist. The year is 1895.  Emma, Minnie and Ratcliffe Hicks, along with their friends and neighbors (all portrayed by Lantern Tour Players) will engage you with their opinions regarding politics, sports, fashion and literature.  Charles Eliot, an apprentice from the firm of Frederick Law Olmsted, will be talking about his plans for the Hicks gardens, complete with landscape blueprints.  Wine, hot beverages, cheese and crackers and cookies will be served.  Richard Kochanek, award winning artist and printmaker, will display and sell his original works of art.  Admission is $5 per person, cash or check only.
