"BIRDS OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND" PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT IN MAY

(TOLLAND)  “Birds of Southern New England, ”  an exhibit of nature photography by Tom Sayers, will be on display at the Arts of Tolland on Saturdays during the month of May. The Arts Center of Tolland is located at 22 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT (06084).   

There will be an opening reception of the exhibit on Friday, May 4 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Arts Center of Tolland. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served. Gallery hours to the exhibit will be Saturdays, May 5, 12, 19, and 26 from noon until 4:00 p.m.

Tom Sayers has had a lifelong interest in the outdoors, spending most of his free time roaming the woods and fields observing our native wildlife.  After seeing the beautiful bird photographs that his son had been capturing, Sayers also became interested in wildlife photography, specifically birds. He has pursued that interest with a passion ever since. 

After teaching in Tolland for 35 years, Sayers recently retired and began displaying his work at various venues. His website is: www.onthewingbirdphotography.com
