Coventry Farmers Market
The Coventry Regional Farmers’ Market is held June through October, Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm on the grounds of the Nathan Hale Homestead at 2299 South Street in Coventry, Connecticut.
The market draws 75,000 visitors annually and generates sales exceeding $350,0000. The market is run by a volunteer committee that operates under a registered 501c3 organization. It is considered a “destination market” drawing nearly 50% of its patrons from beyond the local area. It is a “dog Friendly” market: leashed, well-mannered dogs are welcome.
Market-goers often describe our market as “a little country fair every Sunday.” To be sure, each market is a celebration of locally-grown and handmade goods. Each Sunday has a theme as well.
