The Hicks Museum, 42 Tolland Green is presenting a lawn concert featuring the Riverboat Ramblers, on Wednesday July 25th from 6:30 to 8pm. The Riverboat Ramblers present an exciting and entertaining show performing many styles of music from early ragtime to the music of the big band era. The band brings crowds to their feet performing rousing traditional New Orleans jazz and the driving Cajun rhythms of the Bayou. The members of this band will perform on a variety of instruments including clarinet, trombone, sax, banjo, tuba and drums. This concerts is always highly interactive featuring sing-a-lings, music for dancing and good old fashioned fun for all ages. Admission is by donation and the Museum gates open at 6 pm. Guests are invited to bring seating and a picnic supper. There is an indoor rain locatiom. For more information, please call the Museum at 860-875-7552.
