“New Watercolor Images” By Art Scholz At The Arts Center Of Tolland

 Exhibiting at the Arts Center of Tolland, 22 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT (06084), for the remainder of March and into April, in a show entitled “New Watercolor Images,” will be award-winning local artist Art Scholz with his newest collection of watercolor paintings.

 All are invited to an opening reception on Saturday, March 19th from noon to 2:00 p.m., with gallery hours continuing until 4:00 p.m. Additional exhibit days are Saturdays, March 26, April 2 and 9th, also from noon until 4:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Established as a fine watercolorist, Scholz is exhibiting many of his new paintings. They skillfully capture the countryside and seashores of New England with a selection of Tuscan scenes captured in Italy. Paintings of people and human interest scenes areall set in their natural surroundings in close harmony with nature. Each is portrayed with freshness, rich in color and expressive style.

Scholz is a active member of many art societies and his work has been extensively exhibited in art shows and galleries.
