Tim McGraw to be Country Strong at Mohegan

Cedric to Entertain at Foxwoods, Butch and Sundance Featured in Free Film, Digital Photography Show Opens in Stafford

With a big boost from his hit single, “Felt Good on My Lips,” country singer Tim McGraw has dominated Billboard's No. 1 slot for Hot Country Songs longer than anyone since 1990. He'll appear at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Mohegan Sun Arena.

McGraw has charmed filmgoers, especially recently, starring with Gwyneth Paltrow in the music vehicle “Country Strong.” His film career has not been too shabby. He co-starred with Sandra Bullock in “The Blind Side,” which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2009, and appeared in “Four Christmases” (2008), “The Kingdom” (2007), “Flicka” (2006) and “Friday Night Lights” (2004).

Opening for McGraw on Saturday will be Luke Bryan & the Band Perry.
