Tolland Dancers to Appear in Holiday Ballet

Ten residents will perform the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, as part of the Connecticut Concert Ballet.

A number of Tolland dancers will be participating in a great holiday tradition, performing in the Connecticut Concert Ballet's 2011 Nutcracker, according to a press release from the ballet company.

Tolland residents Serena Lotreck and Grace Mazzarella were both named to lead roles, according to the email. In total, ten Tolland residents will be performing at the show at Manchester High School, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 10 and December 17 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and for Sunday December 11 and December 18 at 2 p.m., according to the CCB's Web site.

The ballet will feature 250 of the company's students, as well as professional dancers Mario I. Espinoza and Kimberly Van Woesik, and Jennifer Grapes and Darren McIntyre.
