Crews on a Roll With Spread Offense at THS Field
The new field at the THS stadium is almost ready.
Work crews at Tolland High School on Thursday were busy laying the crushed rubber filling to the new artificial turf field at THS.
The infill is an important part of the field because it is the key element to making the artificial surface feel and perform like natural grass as players plant, cut and run.
The field is expected to be more than ready for the Eagles' Sept. 20 home opener against Rocky Hill.
