Money Conference for Women
The Money Conference for Women is designed to address the financial challenges women face in their work and personal lives. On average, a woman earns $.77 for every $1 a man earn while working in the same position. The discrepancy between income levels for women of color is even larger. Economic disparities increase a woman’s likelihood to suffer financial insecurity and live in poverty during her later years.
The conference features workshops led by financial experts on topics such as budgeting, investing, retirement planning and home ownership. Conference attendees can also visit the Financial Expo to learn more from a variety of financial service providers. All registered attendees will receive a free tote bag and Stacey Tisdale’s book, The True Cost of Happiness: The Real Story Behind Managing Your Money.
