Lepri's Grill: The Newest Tolland Dining Experience

Lepri's Grill has been in Tolland, offering a new, fine dining experience to Tolland residents.

Executive chef and managing partner Michael Yarnot said that the staff has worked hard to give the new restaurant, which is located in the former Zest building, its own look.

Couches and lounges create a casual area near the large fireplace, and customers can order drinks at two bars. The dining room floors have been refinished, the walls got a new layer of paint, and the large blackboard, a staple of all Lepri restaurants, was installed.

But Yarnot said that the locally produced dishes are what truly make the restaurant a dining destination.

"We're a chef-driven restaurant group. Frank [Lepri] and I are crazy about getting everything as local as possible," he said.

The restaurant's beef comes from local farms like Charter Acres in Ellington and Burke Ridge Farms in South Windsor, he said.

Currently, customers can stop by Wednesday through Sunday after 5 p.m. for a relaxing dining experience.

"We don't rush them at all. We block off an hour and a half to two hours so they can talk and enjoy their meal," Yarnot said.

But soon customers will also be able to experience brunch at Lepri's Grill. Frank Lepri said that the restaurant will be doing an Easter brunch, which will be followed with brunch every Sunday morning. The restaurant patio will also be opening soon with live entertainment.
