Papa T's to Hold 30th Anniversary Celebration

The restaurant is marking its 30 years in Tolland on Sunday, June 10.

Papa T's is ready to celebrate a very big milestone!

On Sunday, June 10, the parking lot in front of will be shut down to mark the much-loved pizza restaurant's 30 years in Tolland.

Papa T's fans from all over can stop by from noon to 4 p.m. to enjoy free food, live music from Old Hat and a huge variety of great raffle prizes.

Some of the local businesses contributing to the raffle prizes include:

  • Banner Water
  • Economy Oil of Vernon
  • Posh Pups of Tolland
  • Studio Central Salon in Glastonbury
  • Playhouse on Park in West Hartford
  • Verizon Wireless

The lucky winner of the raffle grand prize will receive an overnight stay at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, which includes a game of golf at the Lake of Isles.

Papa T's owner Patty Fox said that the will be bringing one of its trucks to the celebration.

Town council Chairman Jack Scavone said he'll be sure to stop by and celebrate.

"We went there before soccer games, after soccer games and after the PTA meetings," Scavone said of his many visits to Papa T's over the last 30 years. "Patty's one of the best."

Participants should park in the commuter lot across the street from Papa T's. There will be volunteers to assist residents across Route 195.

Papa T's will be closed Sunday except to host the party from noon to 4 p.m.
