Photo Gallery: Papa T's Pumpkin Contest
An elephant-pumpkin, complete with a tail, took home the top prize!
Tolland's Papa T's certainly knows how to get into the holiday spirit. The restaurant has plastered the walls with Easter eggs in the spring, and now has created a new, autumn tradition: a pumpkin decoration contest.
Owner Patty Fox said that young customers were given the chance to create their own pumpkin creations while dining at the restaurant. A total of ten entries were submitted, with gift certificates going to the top three winners.
The "elephant pumpkin" took top prize.
