Salon Gio Moves into Bridget & Co. Styling Studio

The Tolland hair salons are sharing space at Meeting House Commons on Merrow Road.

There's no business rivalry to be found here! Tolland hair salons Salon Gio and Bridget & Co. Styling Studio have combined resources and are now operating out of the same storefront in Meeting House Commons on Merrow Road.

Salon Gio owner Lisa Thibodeau said that the two businesses have always had a friendly, cooperative relationship.

"Even though we've worked in separate places we've collaborated and referred clients to each other," Thibodeau said. "They've been so welcoming."

"It's been a good fit for both of us," Tanner noted. Fortuitously, Bridget & Co. had two unfilled styling chairs in the store, which Salon Gio can now use.

While they are sharing a store, the owners explained that both businesses will remain separate entities. Salon Gio clients can still reach the business at its previous number, 860- 875-8500.

Salon Gio used to be a tenant of Gooseberry Corners on Goose Lane.
