Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
We were relocating almost three years ago and decided on this location because there are a lot of nice smaller businesses around, especially in this plaza, and we thought we'd fit right in.
What do you do?
We sell handcrafted new items from local artists on consignment. Some special orders are available. We also offer layaway at no additional charge.
What are you most proud of about your business?
That we provide people with disabilities with the support and assistance necessary to enable them to live valued lives in the community.
What's something people would find surprising about your business or profession?
Our day program for adults that are intellectually challenged. We serve two ladies and four gentlemen throughout the week. They help with the upkeep of the store and make crafts that they also sell in the store. Twenty-five percent of all sales support our program.
How are you involved in the community?
We directly support people with disabilities at our program and also help the community by donating to local fundraising events.
