Part-time Administrative Assistant

Always Best Care of Central Connecticut is looking to enhance its office staff with a Part-time Administrative Assistant. 

Approximately 20 – 25 hours a week,

Two to Three Saturday’s a month required.

The appropriate team member will have a minimum of 2 years office administration experience.  Candidates should be able to put Client Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate environment which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights;  Interacts regularly with clients and caregivers and brings peace of mind to a families initial concerns.  Assist in calls utilizing moderate to advanced conflict resolution skills via phone and in person. This positions daily work load requires independent planning and execution of various tasks. Tasks may involve problem resolution and providing assistance in administration and day to day office support.  Skills include administrative and office management duties such as word processing with composing letters, mail merges and marketing flyers;  filing, monitoring office equipment and supplies.    As well as being able to respond to email, including meeting requests, voicemail, and mail on behalf of team members in their absence.  Balance multiple schedules, support for scheduling and needs of clients and Caregivers. Work both independently and as a team member to provide clerical and administrative support.  Answers numerous phone lines, takes meeting minutes, maintain inventory of printed materials and fulfill orders. 

This position demands a high level of confidentiality.

It is expected that qualified applicant will be adaptable and flexible in responding to a variety of requests, and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external contacts. Perform a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and receptionist duties while contributing to the efficient operation of Always Best Care of Central Connecticut.

Education/requirements:

  • Minimum of two years relevant experience working with an office team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Relationship Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to consistently exercise good judgment while making decisions
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as a cooperative team member
  • Exceptional organizational skills to establish priorities and manage multiple activities to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and judgment in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
