Not everything a reporter sees around town can become a story, but sometimes we just want to share anyway!
A visit to the Tolland Town Clerk's Office is a weekly ritual so Patch can publish its "What Sold in Tolland" column.
And while there are many interesting artifacts in the clerk vault like old maps and ancient-looking records books, as an online newspaper, several Patch reporters have been particularly taken with the antiquated typewriter and desk machine (?) stored on a cabinet top.
I think we can positively identify the typewriter. But can anyone fill me in on how a desk machine is used? (The little levers look particularly intriguing.)
Tune in next Wednesday for more tidbits from our reporting travels!
