Author Investigated in Horse Dragging Incident to Speak at Library

Author Culver Modisette has been the subject of media attention recently after pulling his horse with a pick up truck in Stafford Springs.

Local author Culver Modisette, who is the subject of a state police investigation after pulling his horse with his pick up truck in Stafford Springs, is still scheduled to speak about his book at , according to Library Director Barbara Pettijohn.

Modisette came under intense scrutiny after photos showed  that he tied his horse to a truck in Stafford Springs and drove to transport the animal.

According to WFSB, the horse only had minor skin wounds after the incident.

Culver is scheduled to discuss his book, Honored Enemy, on Tuesday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Tolland Public Library, according to the library website.
