Letter to the Editor: Adam's Adventure Thanks TIS

The talent show at Tolland Intermediate School raised around $2,400 for the handicap-accessible playground to be built at Cross Farms.

From Adam's Adventure:

The members of Adam's Adventure would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all involved in putting on the talent show at Tolland Intermediate School on Friday, January 11, 2013. It was a fun, heartwarming evening full of talented young performers and community spirit. In addition, it was a very successful fundraising event, raising approximately $2,400 for the all-accessible playground that will be built at Cross Farms.

Our thanks to the many dedicated administrators, staff, parents and students at TIS, including the performers and those who helped behind the scenes, for their many hours of hard work to put on a show thoroughly enjoyed by the sold out crowd of 300.  A very special thanks to Karen Moran, President of Tolland Elementary PTO and John Bean, Assistant Principal of Tolland Intermediate School for their time and effort in organizing the show, as well as to 5th grade students, Robyn Moran, Talia Tantillo, Taylor Lee and Alexa Grandfield who came up with the idea for the talent show!
