The may be causing a disruption as wells are dug in the town hall and library parking lots, but the library itself will be adding a bit more to construction traffic as the building's skylight is replaced due to leaking problems.
According to Interim Director of Library Services Mary Anne Ainsworth, the library's hours and access could be fluctuating at a day-by-day basis. However, the staff is working to try and make the transition as smooth as possible for the library's patrons.
"In the end, we'll be able to serve you better," she said.
And while the town hall and library area may be chaotic for a few more weeks, the simultaneous work on the goethermal project and library is aimed to resolve any disruptions as quickly as possible.
Residents can keep track of the construction progress by clicking on the yellow construction symbol on the home page of the town's Web site.
