The town council thanked Tolland residents and town staff for their efforts during the 2011 storms at a picnic on Sunday.
The town council recognized Tolland volunteers and town staff who assisted during the 2011 storms with a picnic at on Sunday.
Residents gathered at the park pavilion to enjoy music, burgers grilled by town council members and hot dogs provided by the Tolland Lions Club.
Water was donated by Banner Water, and a number of residents gave private food donations.
