Santa Stops by the Tolland Fire Training Center

Santa has collected nearly 700 toys for children in need during his tour of Tolland this year.

Santa gave his reindeer a rest Sunday evening and parked his sleigh at Tolland's Fire Training Center to visit with young residents.

Old St. Nick has been busy touring the streets of Tolland this month. He told Tolland Patch Sunday that he and his helpers will be wrapping up their tour Friday and Saturday this week.

Residents have donated a total of 688 toys to Santa so far this year, which will be given to the town to distribute to those in need.
