Thunderstorms rolling through the region this afternoon could bring heavy rain, large hail and damaging winds, according to the National Weather Service.
A severe thunderstorm watch will remain in effect in Tolland until 9 tonight.
On the upside, the forecast for Saturday and Sunday look good.
