What to Do in Tolland This Weekend: Dec. 21 - 23

1. Done with the last-minute shopping and in need of some last-minute wrapping? Stop by the Holiday Gift Wrap fundraiser at the United Congregational Church of Tolland. For the price of a Relay for Life donation, drop off as many gifts as you'd like to have wrapped from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

2. Get a jump start against the holiday bulge with , scheduled for this Sunday at 9 a.m.

3. While you're going about your holiday preparations, why don't you help the Tolland school district win $100,000 in Patch's Deck the House contest? Look for the Tolland entry on our finalists' page. The house with the most votes on Dec. 28th will win the grand prize of $100,000.

4. Some important trash pick-up info from the Town of Tolland:

The Town of Tolland wishes to notify residents that there will be a one day delay of trash and recyclables pick-up the week of Christmas and the week of the New Years since both holidays fall on a weekday. 

The Tuesday, December 25th pick-up will take place on Wednesday, December 26th, and pick-up is delayed each day throughout the week, with the Friday, December 28th pick-up taking place on Saturday, December 29th.

The Tuesday, January 1st pick-up will take place on Wednesday, January 2nd, and pick-up is delayed each day throughout the week, with the Friday, January 4th pick-up taking place on Saturday, January 5th.

5. And while baseball season may seem far away, baseball players can now register for Tolland Little League.
