The Board of Education (with members of the Town Council in attendance) is hosting this public meeting earlier in the year than ever before. This will be a CONVERSATION; a different format than a regular town meeting. A respectful dialogue will spark new ideas, creative solutions and that information will be shared in a meaningful way.
CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE, just come on down!
NOW there is time for new strategies for maintaining town and board services without asking for large tax increases. Lacking this NOW, it will soon be too late to do anything. We then find ourselves reduced to unfortunate choices, like academics vs. athletics, schools vs. town services. No one wins and barriers grow. We know from our school’s strategic planning survey and focus groups that you and others like you care about Tolland and want to be part of a positive process, working toward something better.
