FESTIVAL OF TREES SILENT AUCTION

The Friends of the Tolland Public Library will open its Festival of Christmas Trees Fundrasier with a reception on Thursday, November 21st from 6-7:30pm, at the library, located at 21 Tolland Green.  Tolland residents, local businesses and social organizations have demonstated their creativity and imagination by decorating tabletop trees that will be displayed and bid on in a silent auction.  The Thursday night reception is the opening night for bidding on the trees, and includes refreshments and door prizes.  Bids will be accepted during regular library hours until closing night on Thursday, December 5th.  Final bids will be accepted from 6:30-7:30pm on Thursday, December 5th, and successful bidders can take home their trees.  Winners not present will be notified by phone, and trees can be picked up during regular library hours.  All proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Tolland Public Library.  Bring your family and friends, get into the holiday spirit, and find that one-of-a-kind gift you were looking for!
